We are Charles and Julie (Sullivan) Mayfield…simply two home cooks with an immense joy of growing, cooking and eating fantastic food.
We love sharing what we learn along the way with others. As the saying goes ‘give a man a fish and feed him for a day…teach a man to fish and feed him for a lifetime’.
Our adventure into eating real, natural and nutrient dense food started in 2008. Since then, we have spent hours refining recipes and coming up with unique and fun ways to prepare food to make it really tasty. Personally, we follow this paleo lifestyle because we look, feel and perform better this way. It works for us in our lives.
We believe that food should be something enjoyed and shared, not stressed out and/or obsessed over. We believe that there is a reason you bring a neighbor a meal when they are celebrating the arrival of a new baby, or when you are wanting to help comfort them in times of recovery. Food is life, and is a very fun part of our life, and as much as we love to cook for our friends and families, we love being able to share these recipes with you.
